Summary
The clinical laboratory scientist performs laboratory testing with minimal supervision in the areas of hematology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology and chemistry. The CLS maintains records of performance as defined in the laboratory’s general and sectional policy and procedure manuals.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of one year work experience in a clinical laboratory. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in clinical laboratory science or related field is necessary. A valid CA clinical laboratory scientist license is required.
