Roland J. Wong, M.D.

Chairman

Roland Wong, M.D. serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bay Valley Medical Group and as Laboratory Director. He has been practicing Urology at the group since 1973 and has been a member of the board since 1986.

He has served in numerous leadership capacities over the past two decades: Chief of Surgery, St. Rose Hospital, 1980; President, Medical Staff and Executive Committee, St. Rose Hospital, 1984; Board of Trustees, St. Rose Hospital, 1987-1993 and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, St. Rose Hospital, 1998-2000. Dr. Wong also served as Eden Hospital’s Urology Section Chief, 1994-1996 and he was President of the Chinese American Physician Society in 1980, as well as Chief of Urology at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois.

Dr. Wong is board-certified in urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
