Sheri L. Task, M.D.

Vice President

Sheri Task, M.D. serves as Vice President and as a member of the Board of Directors for Bay Valley Medical Group. She is a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist who has been with the group since 1996.

Dr. Task is currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Staff at St. Rose Hospital and has had several leadership roles in the past, including Chief of Women and Children Services for St. Rose Hospital from 2004-2008, and Chair of Quality Improvement for the Department of Women and Children Services at St. Rose hospital from 2002-2004.

Dr. Task is currently the Vice President of a national women’s medical association. She has given numerous CME lectures to the medical community, as well as spent many hours giving community talks on topics such as menopause, osteoporosis, and urinary incontinence. She has been published in the local newspaper and the bay area edition of M.D. News magazine.

Dr. Task is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She attended medical school at the University of California Irvine, and completed her residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, CA.
