Anupama Velpuri, M.D.

Family Medicine

Dr. Velpuri practices family medicine in Bay Valley Medical Group’s Pleasanton office.

She attended medical school at Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, India and completed her family medicine residency at San Joaquin Hospital in French Camp, California.

Dr. Velpuri joined Bay Valley Medical Group in 2007. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is multilingual in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Urudu, as well as conversant in medical Spanish.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, Indian cooking and leading training programs on cultural competence in medicine.
