She attended Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam and completed her residencies at the Medical College of Ohio and White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Polisetty speaks Hindi and Telugu. She joined Bay Valley Medical Group in 2008.
