Janice Friesen is a licensed clinical social worker in Bay Valley Medical Group’s Hayward office. She is certified by the American Board of Examiners.

She received her M.S.W. at the University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Friesen completed her residency at the San Mateo City Hospital, department of social services and in the Oakland Unified School District guidance department, leading to a Pupil Personnel Services Credential.

In her spare time, she enjoys raising pygmy goats as pets, gardening and reading.
