She graduated from Mysore Medical College and completed her residency at Kern Medical Center.

Dr. Deshpande is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is multilingual in Hindi and Kannada. Dr. Deshpande joined Bay Valley Medical Group in 2006.

In her spare time she enjoys watching Indian movies, cooking, gardening and listening to Indian classical music.
